Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method for producing 1-2-pentanediol by reacting a reactant, which comprises one or both compounds from the group comprising furfuryl alcohol and furfural, with hydrogen in the presence a first heterogeneous catalyst.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de pentane-1,2-diol consistant à faire réagir une substance de départ, laquelle comprend un compose pris dans le groupe constitué d'alcool furfurylique et de furfural ou les deux desdits composés, avec de l'hydrogène en présence d'un premier catalyseur hétérogène.
