Abstract
(EN) A method and device for efficiently simulating lens flares produced by an optical system is provided. The method comprises the steps of - Simulating paths of rays from a light source through the optical system, the rays representing light; and Estimating, for points in a sensor plane, an irradiance, based on intersections of the simulated paths with the sensor plane.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de simuler efficacement des ouvertures d'un objectif produites par un système optique. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : - simulation du cheminement, à travers le système optique, de rayons provenant d'une source de lumière, les rayons représentant la lumière; et estimation, pour des points dans un plan de capteur, d'un éclairement énergétique sur la base des intersections des cheminements simulés avec le plan de capteur.
