Abstract
(EN)
A combined MRI and radiation therapy system (10), comprising a magnet structure (100) and radiation therapy equipment (200). The magnet structure (100) comprising: a single essentially cylindrical field coil structure (104) comprising a number of superconducting coils (106, 108) jointed by a support structure (110) and extending axially either side of a central region (108); an outer vacuum chamber (OVC) (122) enclosing the field coil structure (104) in an evacuated volume; and a cooling arrangement comprising cooling tubes (114) arranged in thermal contact with the superconducting coils and arranged to receive a cryogen flowing through the cooling tubes. The radiation therapy equipment (200) comprising: a gamma radiation source (202) arranged (203) to rotate about the axis of the essentially cylindrical the field coil structure (104) in the central region (108), so as to direct a beam of radiation (208) along a selected path substantially radially through the essentially cylindrical field coil structure (104).

La présente invention concerne un système combiné d'IRM et de radiothérapie (10), comprenant une structure d'aimant (100) et un équipement de radiothérapie (200). La structure d'aimant (100) comprend : une structure simple de bobine de champ sensiblement cylindrique (104) comprenant un certain nombre de bobines supraconductrices (106, 108) articulées par une structure de support (110) et s'étendant axialement de part et d'autre d'une zone centrale (180); une chambre à vide externe (OVC) (122) entourant la structure de bobine de champ (104) dans un volume de vide; et un dispositif de refroidissement comprenant des tubes de refroidissement (114) agencés en contact thermique avec les bobines supraconductrices et agencés pour recevoir un fluide cryogénique circulant dans les tubes de refroidissement.
