This fuel battery module is provided with a case which houses a cell stack which generates power using a hydrogen-containing gas and an oxidizing agent. The case is provided both with a main unit which houses a reformer and the cell stack and which has an opening, and also with a lid body which covers the opening of said main unit. The main unit has a lid receiving unit which, seen from the thickness direction of the lid body, surrounds the opening around the entire circumference, and which is opposite of the periphery of the lid body. Between the lid body and the lid receiving unit, a seal member is arranged which, seen from the aforementioned thickness direction, surrounds the opening around the entire circumference. At least one of the lid body and the lid receiving unit has a first protrusion which protrudes towards the seal member and which, seen from the thickness direction, extends so as to surround the aforementioned opening around the entire circumference.

Ce module de batterie de pile à combustible comporte un boîtier qui reçoit un empilement de cellules qui génère une puissance en utilisant un gaz contenant de l'hydrogène et un agent oxydant. Le boîtier comporte à la fois une unité principale qui reçoit un reformeur et l'empilement de cellule et qui présente une ouverture, et comporte également un corps de couvercle qui recouvre l'ouverture de ladite unité principale. L'unité principale comporte une unité de réception de couvercle qui, vue dans la direction de l'épaisseur du corps de couvercle, entoure l'ouverture sur toute la périphérie, et qui est l'opposé de la périphérie du corps de couvercle. Entre le corps couvercle et l'unité de réception de couvercle, est agencé un élément d'étanchéité qui, vu dans la direction dans la direction de l'épaisseur précitée, entoure l'ouverture sur toute la périphérie. Au moins l'un du corps de couvercle et de l'unité de réception de couvercle présente une première saillie qui fait saillie vers l'élément d'étanchéité et qui, vue dans la direction de l'épaisseur, s'étend de façon à entourer l'ouverture précitée sur toute la périphérie.
