The problem addressed by the present invention is providing a white phosphorescent light-emitting organic electroluminescent element that has a plurality of phosphorescent light-emitting dopants with different light emission wavelengths, that displays white emitted light, is highly efficient with a long life, and has superior stability of drive voltage for chromaticity and drive voltage over time. Also addressed is the problem of providing a lighting device. This organic electroluminescent element has a pair of electrodes on a base material and two light emitting layers containing host material and phosphorescent light-emitting dopants between those electrodes and emits white light when electrified. The organic electroluminescent element is characterized by the host material contained in the two light emitting layers being different. The organic electroluminescent element is further characterized by at least one of the phosphorescent light-emitting dopants of the phosphorescent light-emitting dopants contained in the two light emitting layers being a blue phosphorescent light-emitting dopant with an ionization potential (Ip) of 5.3 eV or less, and at least one layer of the two light emitting layers containing a plurality of phosphorescent light-emitting dopants.

Le problème traité par la présente invention consiste à proposer un élément électroluminescent organique émettant de la lumière phosphorescente blanche qui possède une pluralité de dopants émettant de la lumière phosphorescente à différentes longueurs d'onde d'émission de lumière, qui affiche une lumière émise blanche, qui est hautement efficace et a une longue durée de vie, et qui possède une stabilité supérieure de la tension d'attaque pour la chromaticité et de la tension d'attaque au cours du temps. La présente invention traite également du problème consistant à proposer un dispositif d'éclairage. L'élément électroluminescent organique selon la présente invention possède une paire d'électrodes sur un matériau de base et, entre ces électrodes, deux couches d'émission de lumière contenant une matière hôte et des dopants émettant de la lumière phosphorescente, et émet de la lumière blanche lorsqu'il est excité. L'élément électroluminescent organique est caractérisé en ce que les matières hôtes contenues dans les deux couches d'émission de lumière sont différentes. L'élément électroluminescent organique est en outre caractérisé en ce qu'au moins l'un des dopants émettant de la lumière phosphorescente parmi les dopants émettant de la lumière phosphorescente contenus dans les deux couches d'émission de lumière est un dopant émettant de la lumière phosphorescente bleue présentant un potentiel d'ionisation (Ip) de 5,3 eV ou moins, et en ce qu'au moins une couche des deux couches d'émission de lumière contient une pluralité de dopants émettant de la lumière phosphorescente.

 本発明の課題は、発光波長の異なる複数の燐光発光ドーパントを有し、白色発光を呈し、高効率、長寿命であり、かつ色度の対駆動電圧、対駆動経時での安定性に優れた白色燐光発光有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子及び照明装置を提供することにある。本発明の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子は、基材上に一対の電極と、該電極の間にホスト材料と燐光発光性ドーパントを含有する発光層を2層有し、通電により白色発光する有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子において、該2層の発光層が含有するホスト材料が異なるものからなり、該2層の発光層に含まれる燐光発光性ドーパントのうち、少なくとも一つの燐光発光性ドーパントが、イオン化ポテンシャル(Ip)が5.3eV以下の青色燐光発光性ドーパントであり、かつ、該2層の発光層の少なくとも1層は、複数の燐光発光性ドーパントを含有することを特徴とする。
