Abstract
(EN) Technology for performing multiple timing advances in a carrier aggregation communication system is disclosed. A method comprises communicating a random access preamble from a UE to an eNodeB via a PCell associated with a selected component carrier of the carrier aggregation. A Random Access Response (RAR) is received at the UE from the eNodeB for the PCell. The RAR contains a timing advance adjustment instructing the UE to adjust a timing of a PCell wireless communication. A request is received at the UE to adjust a timing of an SCell communication. A random access preamble is communicated to the UE via the SCell. An RAR is received at the UE from the eNodeB for the SCell to adjust a timing advance of the SCell wireless communication.
(FR) L'invention porte sur une technologie permettant d'effectuer de multiples avances temporelles dans un système de communication à agrégation de porteuses. Un procédé consiste à communiquer un préambule d'accès aléatoire d'un équipement utilisateur (UE) à un nœud B évolué (eNodeB) par l'intermédiaire d'une cellule primaire (PCell) associée à une porteuse composante sélectionnée de l'agrégation de porteuses. Une réponse d'accès aléatoire (RAR) est reçue au niveau de l'UE en provenance de l'eNodeB pour la PCell. La RAR contient un ajustement d'avance temporelle donnant à l'UE l'instruction d'ajuster un positionnement temporel d'une communication sans fil de PCell. Une requête est reçue au niveau de l'UE demandant d'ajuster un positionnement temporel d'une communication de cellule secondaire (SCell). Un préambule d'accès aléatoire est communiqué à l'UE par l'intermédiaire de la SCell. Une RAR est reçue au niveau de l'UE en provenance de l'eNodeB pour la SCell afin d'ajuster une avance temporelle de la communication sans fil de SCell.
