Provided is a lithium secondary battery anode that can improve the charging/discharging characteristics of a lithium secondary battery, even while using a compound containing an element that can alloy with Li or a compound containing said element as an anode active material. Further provided is a lithium secondary battery provided with the lithium secondary battery anode. The lithium secondary battery anode has a collector and an anode active material layer that is formed on the surface of the collector and that contains an anode active material and a binder. The anode active material contains an element that can alloy with Li or a compound containing the element, and the binder is a branched polysaccharide. Si, Sn, or an oxide thereof can be cited as the element that can alloy with Li or a compound containing the element, and amylopectin can be cited as the branched polysaccharide.

L'invention concerne une anode de batterie secondaire au lithium qui peut améliorer les caractéristiques de charge/décharge d'une batterie secondaire au lithium, même au moyen d'un composé contenant un élément qui peut former un alliage avec du Li ou d'un composé contenant ledit élément en tant que matériau actif d'anode. L'invention propose en outre une batterie secondaire au lithium dotée de l'anode de batterie secondaire au lithium. L'anode de batterie secondaire au lithium comporte un collecteur et une couche de matériau actif d'anode qui est formée sur la surface du collecteur et qui contient un matériau actif d'anode et un liant. Le matériau actif d'anode contient un élément qui peut former un alliage avec du Li ou un composé contenant l'élément, et le liant est un polysaccharide ramifié. Du Si, du Sn ou un de leurs oxydes peut être cité comme élément qui peut former un alliage avec du Li ou un composé contenant l'élément, et l'amylopectine peut être citée comme polysaccharide ramifié.

 Liと合金化が可能な元素又は該元素を含有する化合物を負極活物質として使用しながらも、リチウム二次電池の充放電特性を向上させることが可能なリチウム二次電池用負極、及びそれを備えたリチウム二次電池を提供する。 本発明に係るリチウム二次電池用負極は、集電体と、該集電体の表面に形成された、負極活物質及び結着剤を含む負極活物質層とを有し、上記負極活物質がLiと合金化が可能な元素又は該元素を含有する化合物を含み、上記結着剤が分岐型多糖類である。上記Liと合金化が可能な元素又は該元素を含有する化合物としては、Si、Sn、又はこれらの酸化物が挙げられ、上記分岐型多糖類としてはアミロペクチンが挙げられる。
