An automatic transmission (11) equipped with a planetary gear set (PS), first to third clutches (C-1 to C-3), first to third brakes (B-1 to B-3), and a counter gear (100) for outputting gear-shifted rotation. The counter gear (100) is disposed to one side of the planetary gear set (PS) in the axial direction, and the second brake (B-2) is disposed to the opposite side of the planetary gear set (PS) in the axial direction, with respect to the counter gear (100). The second brake (B-2), which never has a higher rotation rate in comparison to the other clutches and brakes, can be disposed away from the planetary gear set (PS), while the other clutches and brakes and the counter gear (100) can be disposed in proximity to the planetary gear set (PS), and thicker members can be made shorter, more compact, and lighter in weight.

La présente invention a trait à une boîte de vitesses automatique (11) qui est équipée d'un train planétaire (PS), d'un premier à un troisième embrayage (C-1 à C-3), d'un premier à un troisième frein (B-1 à B-3) et d'un pignon intermédiaire (100) permettant de fournir une rotation à changement de vitesse. Le pignon intermédiaire (100) est disposé d'un côté du train planétaire (PS) dans la direction axiale et le deuxième frein (B-2) est disposé sur le côté opposé du train planétaire (PS) dans la direction axiale, par rapport au pignon intermédiaire (100). Le deuxième frein (B-2), qui n'a jamais une vitesse de rotation plus élevée par rapport aux autres embrayages et freins, peut être disposé de manière à être éloigné du train planétaire (PS), tandis que les autres embrayages et freins ainsi que le pignon intermédiaire (100) peuvent être disposés à proximité du train planétaire (PS) et des éléments plus épais peuvent être fabriqués de manière à être plus courts, plus compact et plus léger en termes de poids.

 自動変速機(1)は、プラネタリギヤセット(PS)と、第1乃至第3クラッチ(C-1~C-3)と、第1乃至第3ブレーキ(B-1~B-3)と、変速された回転を出力するカウンタギヤ(100)とを備えている。該カウンタギヤ(100)をプラネタリギヤセット(PS)の軸方向一方側に配置し、第2ブレーキ(B-2)をカウンタギヤ(100)に対してプラネタリギヤセット(PS)とは軸方向反対側に配置する。他のクラッチやブレーキに比して高回転となることがない第2ブレーキ(B-2)をプラネタリギヤセット(PS)から離して配置でき、他のクラッチやブレーキ、カウンタギヤ(100)をプラネタリギヤセット(PS)の近傍に配置し、肉厚が厚くなる部材を短縮化してコンパクト化や軽量化を図る。
