Provided is a biological sample measurement device which comprises a biological sample measurement instrument and a measurement-related information supply device (8) for supplying measurement-related information. The measurement-related information supply device (8) comprises: a read unit (22) for reading in the measurement-related information; a first storage unit (19) which has identification information of the measurement-related information supply device (8) stored therein; and a transmission unit (23) for transmitting the measurement-related information and the identification information of the measurement-related information supply device (8) to the biological sample measurement instrument. The biological sample measurement instrument comprises: a main case which has an attachment part for a biological sample detection sensor, and has a display section; a measurement unit which is connected to the attachment part inside the main case; a control unit which is connected to the measurement unit; and a reception unit which is connected to the control unit and receives the measurement-related information and the identification information of the measurement-related information supply device transmitted from the transmission unit of the measurement-related information supply device.
