Abstract

The present invention relates to unsaturated polyester resin compositions comprising (a) an unsaturated polyester, (b) a vinyl group containing organic compound as reactive diluent and (c) a tertiary aromatic amine, wherein the resin composition further comprises (d) a compound according to formula (1) as reactive diluent whereby n= 0-3; R1 and R2 each individually represent H, C1-C20 alkyl, C3-C20 cycloalkyl, C6-C20 aryl, C7-C20 alkylaryl or C7-C20 arylalkyl; X = O, S or NR3 whereby R3 = H, C1-C20 alkyl, C3-C20 cycloalkyl, C6-C20 aryl, C7-C20 alkylaryl, C7-C20 arylalkyl, part of a polymer chain or attached to a polymer chain, and the resin composition comprises, as vinyl group containing organic compound (b), styrene, a styrene derivative, a vinyl ether, a vinyl amine or vinyl amide or a mixture of at least two of these compounds.

Cette invention concerne des compositions de résine polyester insaturées comprenant (a) un polyester insaturé, (b) un composé organique contenant un groupe vinyle à titre de diluant réactif et (c) une amine aromatique tertiaire, ladite composition de résine comprenant en outre (d) un composé selon la formule (1) à titre de diluant réactif, où n= 0-3 ; R1 et R2 représentent chacun individuellement H, un alkyle C1-C20, un cycloalkyle C3-C20, un aryle C6-C20, un alkylaryle C7-C20 ou un arylalkyle C7-C20 ; X = O, S ou NR3 où R3 = H, un alkyle C1-C20, un cycloalkyle C3-C20, un aryle C6-C20, un alkylaryle C7-C20, un arylalkyle C7-C20, une partie de chaîne polymère ou liée à une chaîne de polymère, et ladite composition de résine comprenant, à titre de composé organique contenant un groupe vinyle (b), un styrène, un dérivé de styrène, un éther de vinyle, une amine vinylique ou un amide vinylique ou un mélange d'au moins deux de ces composés.
