(FR) PROCÉDÉ DE STABILISATION MÉCANIQUE DES POLYMÈRES AZOTÉS
Abstract:
(EN) A process for preparing mechanically stabilized polyazole polymers, comprising the following steps: b) producing a film comprising polyazoles with at least one amino group in a repeat unit, c) treating the film from step a) with a solution comprising (i) at least one strong acid and (ii) at least one stabilizing reagent, the total content of stabilizing reagents in the solution being in the range from 0.01 to 30% by weight, d) performing the stabilization reaction in the membrane obtained in step b) directly or in a subsequent membrane processing step by heating to a temperature greater than 60°C, e) optionally additionally doping the membrane obtained in step c) with a strong acid or concentrating the strong acid present by removing water present, said stabilizing reagent comprising at least one compound which has A) at least one aldehyde group and at least one hydroxyl group or B) at least one hemiacetal group or C) at least one acetal group. The polyazole polymer membranes thus obtainable are notable especially for a high conductivity and a very good mechanical stability. They are therefore especially suitable for applications in fuel cells.
(FR) Cette invention concerne un procédé de préparation de polymères de polyazole mécaniquement stabilisés, comprenant les étapes suivantes : b) production d'un film comprenant des polyazoles contenant au moins un groupe amino dans un motif de répétition, c) traitement du film obtenu à l'étape a) avec une solution comprenant (i) au moins un acide fort et (ii) au moins un réactif de stabilisation, la teneur totale en réactifs de stabilisation dans la solution étant dans la plage de 0,01 à 30 % en poids, d) mise en œuvre de la réaction de stabilisation dans la membrane obtenue à l'étape b) directement ou dans une étape de traitement de membrane ultérieure par chauffage jusqu'à une température supérieure à 60°C, e) éventuellement, en plus, dopage de la membrane obtenue à l'étape c) avec un acide fort ou concentration de l'acide fort présent par élimination de l'eau présente, ledit réactif de stabilisation comprenant au moins un composé contenant A) au moins un groupe aldéhyde et au moins un groupe hydroxyle ou B) au moins un groupe hémiacétal ou C) au moins un groupe acétal. Les membranes polymères en polyazole pouvant ainsi être obtenues sont remarquables, notamment, en raison de leur conductivité élevée et de leur très bonne stabilité mécanique. Elles se prêtent, par conséquent, particulièrement bien aux applications dans des piles à combustible.
