Title (EN) OSCILLATING ELEMENT FOR A REGULATING TIMEPIECE BODY
(FR) ELEMENT OSCILLANT POUR ORGANE REGLANT HORLOGER
Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to an oscillating element (1) for a regulating timepiece body, comprising a first region (10) in the form of an oscillating element, and a second region (20) connected to the first region and having a larger volume that that of the first region, the second region (20) being shaped in such a way as to compensate for the deformations of said element in order to ensure the isochronism thereof. The deformations of the first region (10) caused by temperature variations, gravity or oscillations of said element are compensated for by deformations of the second region (20). The invention also relates to a method for mathematically calculating an optimum shape of said second region (20).
