(EN)A catalytic composition is provided for methanol production. The composition includes an alloy of at least two different metals M and M', where M is selected from Ni, Pd, Ir, and Ru, and M' is selected from Ga, Zn, and Al. A molar ratio of M to M' is in the range of 1:10 to 10:1, and the alloy is configured to catalyze a reduction of CO2 to methanol.

La composition comprend un alliage d'au moins deux métaux différents M et M', où M est choisi parmi Ni, Pd, Ir et Ru, et M' est choisi parmi Ga, Zn et Al.
