(EN)This positive electrode active material comprises a compound that is represented by the following composition formula: [Li1.5][Li0.5(1-x)Mn1-xM1.5x]O3 (wherein x satisfies 0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.5, and M represents NiαCoβMnγ with α, β and γ satisfying 0 < α ≤ 0.5, 0 ≤ β ≤ 0.33 and 0 < γ ≤ 0.5). The compound has a half width of the peak of the (001) crystal plane as determined by X-ray diffraction of 0.14-0.33 (inclusive), and the compound has an average primary particle diameter of 0.03-0.4 μm (inclusive).
