(EN)In order to provide a light source module with which the coupling efficiency from the light source to a light guide plate can be increased and the light utilization efficiency can be improved without involving processing of the light guide plate, this light source module has an optical coupling member (30), which is arranged between a light guide plate (13) and LEDs (23a/23b) arranged beneath that light guide plate, and which has a top flat face (31) that abuts and is parallel to the light guide plate (13), and drooping curved faces (32) that reflect and guide light from the LEDs (23a/23b) to the top flat face (31).
