(EN)Provided is an electrophotographic device in which the adhesion of any contamination substance that is accumulated on a cleaning member onto a charging member can be prevented by decreasing the surface free energy and the friction coefficient of the charging member and, therefore, the image failure associated with the adhesion can be improved. A charging member comprising a base, an elastic layer and a surface layer, wherein the surface layer contains a polymeric compound having an Si-O-W bond, and wherein the polymeric compound has a constituent unit represented by formula (1) and a constituent unit represented by formula (2).
(FR)La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif électrophotographique qui permet d'empêcher qu'une substance contaminante s'accumulant sur un élément de nettoyage n'adhère à un élément de charge grâce à la diminution de l'énergie libre superficielle et du coefficient de frottement de l'élément de charge, les défauts d'images associés à l'adhérence pouvant donc être atténués.
