(EN)A headlamp assembly having a mechanism for reducing water based contamination is disclosed. The mechanism includes a lens assembly having an outer lens and an inner lens. A heating element may be disposed between the inner and outer lenses. Alternatively, inner and outer lenses may be spaced apart having a passage formed therebetween thorough which fluid may travel. Heat from light emitting diodes and a circuit board may be directed toward the outer lens through passages formed in the headlamp assembly.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un ensemble phare qui possède un mécanisme permettant de réduire la contamination à base d'eau. Le mécanisme comprend un ensemble lentille présentant une lentille externe et une lentille interne. Un élément chauffant peut être disposé entre les lentilles internes et externes. En variante, des lentilles interne et externe peuvent être espacées par un passage formé entre celles-ci à travers lequel un fluide peut se déplacer.
