(EN)A method is provided a wireless system for reliably transmitting context information in robust header compression at low signal energies. More particularly, the methodology of the invention provides an elongated virtual Transmission Time Interval (Super TTI) for the first few (in particular, the first) non-compressed packet (that includes upper layer headers) of a packet stream transmitted using ROHC compression. Improved reception reliability for the uncompressed packet, in particular to decode the headers, results by application to the Super ΤTI of a combination of TTI Bundling techniques, RLC segmentation and association with multiple HARQ processes and use of enough HARQ rounds.
(FR)Procédé pour système sans fil permettant de transmettre des informations contextuelles de manière fiable dans une compression d'en tête robuste à de faibles énergies de signal. Plus particulièrement, la méthodologie de l'invention concerne un intervalle de temps de transmission virtuel prolongé (super TTI) pour les tout premiers (et en particulier le premier) paquets non comprimés (comprenant les en-têtes de couche supérieure) d'un train de paquets transmis par compression ROHC). La fiabilité de réception améliorée pour le paquet non compressé, en particulier pour le décodage des en-têtes, se traduit par l'application au super TTI d'une combinaison de techniques de groupage TTI, de segmentation RLC, d'association avec des processus HARQ multiples et d'utilisation d'un nombre suffisant de cycles HARQ.
