The at least one power management module (170) is arranged to determine when content of at least one memory sub-module (320, 420, 520, 525) is redundant, and place the at least one memory sub-module (320, 420, 520, 525) into a powered-down state upon determining that content of the at least one memory sub-module (320, 420, 520, 525) is redundant.
