(EN)An apparatus is provided for online IR analysis of viscous fluids for determining their several physico-chemical properties, the said apparatus comprising a sample dilution accessory, wherein the viscous fluid sample is diluted with IR transparent diluent in homogenous manner to obtain a diluted sample, the said accessory fitted with an IR Spectrometer for evaluating the absorbance of the said sample for analysis. The invention uses an apparatus wherein sample cells of less than 0.2mm can be utilized and IR absorption is evaluated for full IR spectrum from 800 cm-1 to 400 cm-1 for predicting the properties of viscous fluids.
(FR)L'invention concerne un appareil pour l'analyse IR en ligne de fluides visqueux pour déterminer leurs propriétés physicochimiques multiples, ledit appareil comprenant un accessoire de dilution d'échantillon. L'échantillon de fluides visqueux est dilué avec un diluant transparent aux IR de manière homogène pour obtenir un échantillon dilué, ledit accessoire étant équipé d'un spectromètre IR pour évaluer l'absorbance dudit échantillon à analyser. L'invention utilise un appareil dans lequel des cellules d'échantillon de moins de 0,2 mm peuvent être utilisées et l'absorption IR est évaluée pour un spectre IR complet de 800 cm-1 à 400 cm-1 pour prédire les propriétés des fluides visqueux.
