(EN)A catalyst support is formed by stacking multiple layers of similar planar bodies. Each layer of similar planar body is formed by embedding multiple layers of similar unit frames. The geometrical shapes of multiple layers of similar unit frames are similar to that of the cross section of similar planar body in each layer. Each layer of similar unit frame has a spring-like spiral structure. The catalyst support increases its specific surface area, without increasing its volume, to improve the utilization rate of the catalyst loaded.

Chaque couche de corps plans similaires est formée par encastrement de multiples couches d'armatures similaires.
