(EN)A method for purging of, and debris removal from, a hole created with laser energy in which a swirling purge gas stream is provided in a hole containing debris to be removed, imparting a swirl to the debris and lifting the debris from a bottom of the hole. In accordance with one embodiment, the purge gas is swirled in a purge gas nozzle providing purge gas into the hole. In accordance with another embodiment of this invention, the purge gas is swirled directly in the hole.
(FR)Procédé de purge et d'élimination de débris d'un trou percé par énergie laser. Le procédé consiste à envoyer un flux en vortex d'un gaz de purge dans un trou contenant des débris à éliminer et à soumettre ces débris à un mouvement tourbillonnaire longitudinal pour les faire décoller du fond du trou. Selon un mode de réalisation, le gaz de purge est envoyé en tourbillonnant dans le trou via un injecteur. Selon un autre mode de réalisation, le gaz de purge est envoyé directement dans le trou dans un flux en vortex.
