(EN)The present invention relates to a method for purifying higher purity methyl formylbenzoate comprising the steps of: (a) adding alcohol to reaction by-products containing methyl formylbenzoate, which are produced during the preparation of DMT, and filtering this mixture; (b) adding (i) hydroxylamine or an inorganic salt of hydroxylamine and (ii) an alkali component to a filtrate obtained through the filtering to convert methyl formylbenzoate in the filtrate into methyl-4-formylbenzoate through oximation and then filtering the resultant mixture; (c) dissolving the prepared mixture of methyl-4-formylbenzoate into toluene or methylene chloride; and (d) adding an acid to the mixture.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé de purification de formylbenzoate de méthyle de plus grande pureté comprenant les étapes consistant à : (a) ajouter un alcool aux sous-produits réactionnels contenant du formylbenzoate de méthyle, qui sont produits pendant la préparation de DMT, et filtrer ce mélange ; (b) ajouter (i) de l'hydroxylamine ou un sel inorganique d'hydroxylamine et (ii) un composant alcalin à un filtrat obtenu par filtration pour convertir le formylbenzoate de méthyle dans le filtrat en 4-formylbenzoate de méthyle par oximation, puis filtrer le mélange résultant ; (c) dissoudre le mélange préparé de 4-formylbenzoate de méthyle dans du toluène ou du chlorure de méthylène ; et (d) ajouter un acide au mélange.
