(EN)An apparatus for calculating the location of a receiver in a satellite navigation system, the apparatus being arranged to calculate a location of the receiver by means of an algorithm that utilises an estimate of receiver location and/or an estimate of absolute time, the apparatus being arranged to perform the calculation in such a way as to extend a convergence zone within which the algorithm is capable of generating the correct location for the receiver despite an error in the estimate(s).
(FR)L'invention concerne un appareil qui permet de calculer l'emplacement d'un récepteur dans un système de navigation par satellite. L'appareil est conçu pour calculer une position du récepteur au moyen d'un algorithme qui utilise une estimation d'emplacement du récepteur et/ou une estimation de temps absolu. L'appareil est conçu pour effectuer le calcul de manière à agrandir une zone de convergence à l'intérieur de laquelle l'algorithme peut générer l'emplacement correct pour le récepteur malgré une erreur dans l'estimation ou les estimations.
