Abstract:
(EN) Techniques are described that combine intravascular ultrasound ("IVUS") and optical coherence tomography into a single catheter that utilizes a micro-motor driven imaging core for imaging of patient tissue, e.g., a blood vessel wall. In one example, an imaging assembly includes a catheter (100), an imaging core (200) with a micro-motor, one or more transducer conductors, an optical coherence tomography apparatus (136), and one or more optical fibers (138) in communication with the optical coherence tomography apparatus.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des techniques qui combinent l'imagerie intravasculaire ultrasonore (« IVUS ») et la tomographie par cohérence optique en un seul cathéter, qui utilise un noyau d'imagerie entraîné par un micromoteur pour réaliser l'imagerie d'un tissu de patient, par exemple une paroi de vaisseau sanguin.
