Abstract:
Provided is a data communication device capable of transmitting larger volumes of data than conventional devices, within a spreading spectrum-type communication device capable of long-distance communication while using ultra-low power. A transmitter (2) is configured so as to: calculate a dependent variable for a predetermined function (F), using communication data as an independent variable; output the calculated value as the shift amount for a spreading code; and spread carrier waves using shift spreading codes for data communication that have been shifted by the calculated shift amount and generate transmission signals. A receiver (3) is configured so as to: decide the shift amount for despreading codes for data communication required to demodulate carrier waves for signals received after establishing synchronization; calculate the dependent variable for the inverse function of the function (F), using the decided shift amount as the independent variable; and output the calculated value as the restored communication data.
