The present invention relates to a camera mounted on a wireless communication device (portable communication terminal, wireless communication PDA, smartphone, or cellular phone); and particularly to a method for using a camera to conveniently capture a quality image of an iris and a subject suitable for biometrics, and to a camera having a single bandpass filter for transmitting a partial range of visible rays and near infrared rays, a high brightness LED, and an infrared LED.

La présente invention concerne un appareil de prise de vues installé sur un dispositif de communication sans fil (terminal de communication portable, assistant numérique de communication sans fil, smartphone ou téléphone cellulaire), et en particulier un procédé d'utilisation d'un appareil de prise de vues pour capturer facilement une image de qualité d'un iris et d'un sujet convenant pour la biométrie, ainsi qu'un appareil de prise de vues comprenant un filtre passe-bande simple pour transmettre une gamme partielle de rayons visibles et de rayons infrarouges proches, une LED à haute luminosité et une LED infrarouge.
