The invention relates to a method for the hydrodesulphurisation of at least one diesel fraction, using a catalyst comprising, in the oxide form thereof, at least one metal selected from the group VIB metals and/or at least one metal from the group VIII metals of the periodic table, present in the form of at least one polyoxometalate having formula (HhXxMmOy)q-, wherein: X is an element selected from among phosphorus (P), silicon (Si), boron (B), nickel (Ni) and cobalt (Co), said element being taken alone; M is one or more elements selected from among molybdenum (Mo), tungsten (W), nickel (Ni) and cobalt (Co); O is oxygen; H is hydrogen; h is an integer between 0 and 12; x is an integer between 0 and 4; m is an integer equal to 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 18; y is an integer between 17 and 72; and q is an integer between 1 and 20, said polyoxometalates being present inside a mesostructured silica oxide matrix having a pore size between 1.5 and 50 nm and amorphous walls with a thickness of between 1 and 30 nm. The catalyst is sulphurised prior to use in said method.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'hydrodésulfuration d'au moins une coupe gazole mettant en œuvre un catalyseur comprenant, sous sa forme oxyde, au moins un métal du groupe VIB et/ou au moins un métal du groupe VIII de la classification périodique présent sous forme d'au moins un polyoxométallate de formule (HhXxMmOy)q- dans laquelle X est un élément choisi parmi le phosphore (P), le silicium (Si), le bore (B), le nickel (Ni) et le cobalt (Co), ledit élément étant pris seul, M est un ou plusieurs élément(s) choisi(s) parmi le molybdène (Mo), le tungstène (W), le nickel (Ni) et le cobalt (Co), O est l'oxygène, H est l'hydrogène, h est un entier compris entre 0 et 12, x est un entier compris entre 0 et 4, m est un entier égal à 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 et 18, y est un entier compris entre 17 et 72 et q est un entier compris entre 1 et 20, lesdits polyoxométallates étant présents au sein d'une matrice oxyde silicique mésostructurée ayant une taille de pore comprise entre 1,5 et 50 nm et présentant des parois amorphes d'épaisseur comprise entre 1 et 30 nm, ledit catalyseur étant sulfuré avant d'être mis en œuvre dans ledit procédé.
