Die Erfindung betrifft eine dielektrische Schicht (4) für ein elektrisches Bauelement (100) mit organischem Dielektrikum auf einem Leiterplattensubstrat (1), einem Prepreg oder einer Leiterplatine, wobei die dielektrische Schicht eine ionische Flüssigkeit, vorzugsweise in einer Polymermatrix, aufweist, und ein elektrisches Bauelement, mit einer ersten Elektrodenschicht (2), einer organischen Isolationsschicht (3), welche auf der ersten Elektrodenschicht in einer Monolage angeordnet ist, einer dielektrischen Schicht, welche eine ionische Flüssigkeit in einer Polymermatrix aufweist und welche auf der organischen Isolationsschicht angeordnet ist, und einer zweiten Elektrodenschicht (5), welche auf der dielektrischen Schicht angeordnet ist.
