When sounding signals are received from a plurality of communications devices including a device of a communication party, an assessment value computation unit (44) calculates an assessment value which represents a characteristic of a transmission path on the basis of the sounding signals from the plurality of communications devices. A transmission protocol determination unit (45) determines on the basis of the assessment value whether the transmission protocol to the device to the communication party is adaptive array transmission which implements both null steering and beam forming, or beam forming transmission only.

Selon l'invention, lorsque des signaux de sondage sont reçus en provenance d'une pluralité de dispositifs de communication comprenant un dispositif d'une partie de communication, une unité de calcul de valeur d'évaluation (44) calcule une valeur d'évaluation qui représente une caractéristique d'un chemin de transmission sur la base des signaux de sondage provenant de la pluralité de dispositifs de communication. Une unité de détermination de protocole de transmission (45) détermine, sur la base de la valeur d'évaluation, si le protocole de transmission au dispositif à la partie de communication est une transmission à réseau adaptative qui met en œuvre à la fois une orientation nulle et une formation de faisceau, ou seulement une transmission à formation de faisceau.
