The taste (especially aroma and richness) of various food products such as chili oil, broad bean chili paste, red pepper miso with garlic, XO sauce, pepper sauce, peperoncino-infused oil, sweet flour paste, tahini, oyster sauce, Chinese noodles, Chinese wine, almond pudding, and teas such as oolong and jasmine, Japanese dumplings, steamed meat dumplings, wonton, Chinese rice porridge, Chinese steamed buns, and vegetable puree can be enhanced by blending in alanine.

Le goût (et en particulier l'arôme et la richesse) de divers produits alimentaires tels que l'huile au chili, la pâte de fèves au chili, le miso aux poivrons rouges et à l'ail, la sauce XO, la sauce au poivre, l'huile parfumée au piment, la pâte sucrée, le tahini, la sauce aux huîtres, les nouilles chinoises, le vin chinois, le gâteau aux amandes, des thés comme le thé Oolong et le thé au jasmin, les boulettes de pâte japonaises, les boulettes de viande cuites à la vapeur, le wonton, la bouillie de riz chinoise, les petits pains chinois cuits à la vapeur, et la purée de légumes, peut être amélioré par l'introduction d'alanine.
