Provided are a ship for installing offshore wind turbines and a method for installing offshore wind turbines using the ship, whereby the hull can be maintained in a fixed position in a short amount of time and without significant restraints due to oceanographic conditions. In the ship for installing offshore wind turbines (1), a wind turbine (3) obtained by assembling a tower (5), a nacelle (7) and rotor blades (9), is loaded onto the deck (12), the ship is towed or self-navigated to an area of the sea where the wind turbines are to be installed, and the wind turbine (3) is lifted by a crane (14) disposed on the deck (12), and installed in an offshore target installation position. The ship for installing offshore wind turbines (1) constitutes a small waterplane area twin hull, and a tension-leg platform provided with anchors (28), a winch that is capable of moving the anchors (28) between the bottom of the ship and the bottom of the sea, and mooring cables (26) that provide a prescribed tension between the anchors (28) and the hull.

L'invention concerne un navire permettant l'installation d'éoliennes en mer et un procédé permettant d'installer des éoliennes en mer à l'aide du navire, ce par quoi la coque peut être maintenue en une position fixe pendant une courte période de temps et sans limite significative causée par les conditions océanographiques. Dans le navire permettant l'installation d'éoliennes en mer (1), une éolienne (3) obtenue par l'assemblage d'une tour (5), d'une nacelle (7) et d'ailettes de rotor (9), est chargée sur le pont (12), le navire est remorqué ou auto-navigué jusqu'à une zone en mer où les éoliennes doivent être installées, et l'éolienne (3) est soulevée par une grue (14) disposée sur le pont (12), et installée dans une position d'installation cible en mer. Le navire permettant l'installation d'éoliennes en mer (1) constitue une double coque à petite aire de flottaison, et une plate-forme sur jambe à câbles tendus ayant des ancres (28), un treuil qui est en mesure de déplacer les ancres (28) entre la partie inférieure du navire et le fond de la mer, et des câbles d'amarrage (26) qui procurent une tension prescrite entre les ancres (28) et la coque.
