Abstract
(EN)
The present invention provides processes for removing nitrogen species from fresh water or high salinity water recirculated aquaculture systems. The processes are based on physico-chemical treatments which are performed at ambient temperatures and at low p H values thus keeping the total ammonia nitrogen concentrations below a value which is considered detrimental for the growth or survival rate of cultured fish/shrimp.

La présente invention porte sur des procédés pour le retrait de produit azoté d'eau douce ou d'eau à salinité élevée de systèmes d'aquaculture recirculés. Les procédés sont basés sur des traitements physico-chimiques qui sont réalisés à température ambiante et à des valeurs de pH faibles, maintenant ainsi les concentrations d'azote ammoniacal totales au-dessous d'une valeur qui est considérée comme nuisible pour la croissance ou le taux de survie de poissons/crevettes en culture.
