Abstract
(EN)
A device including an inner packing material that is coupled to an electrical component and which is adapted to surround t electrical component is disclosed. The inner packing material is adapted to trap gases that may be produced by the electric component in a release event. An outer packing material surrounds the inner packing material and substantially maintains a rigid shape or structural integrity of the outer packing material during a release event. Connecting rods are disposed between the inner and outer packing materials which are configured to resist the expansion of the inner packing material because of the said release event thereby maintaining the said rigid shape or structural integrity of the outer packing material.

L'invention concerne un dispositif comprenant un matériau d'emballage intérieur qui est couplé à un composant électrique et qui est conçu pour entourer le composant électrique. Le matériau d'emballage intérieur est conçu pour piéger les gaz qui peuvent être produits par le composant électrique en cas d'événement de dégagement. Un matériau d'emballage extérieur entoure le matériau d'emballage intérieur et assure substantiellement une forme rigide ou l'intégrité structurelle du matériau d'emballage extérieur pendant un événement de dégagement. Des tiges de connexion sont disposées entre les matériaux d'emballage intérieur et extérieur et sont configurées pour résister à l'expansion du matériau d'emballage intérieur en raison dudit événement de dégagement, ce qui maintient ladite forme rigide ou intégrité structurelle du matériau d'emballage extérieur.
