Abstract

There is provided herein a one-part room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone based air and water barrier composition comprising silanol-terminated diorganopolysiloxane polymer; fumed silica; stearic acid treated ground calcium carbonate extending filler; polyalkoxy crosslinking agent; metal chelate condensation cure catalyst; and, an adhesion promoter. There is also provided a wall assembly comprising said composition.

L'invention concerne une composition de barrière à l'eau et à l'air à base de silicone de vulcanisation à température ambiante monocomposant comprenant un polymère de diorganopolysiloxane à terminaison silanol; de la silice sublimée; une charge d'extension de carbonate de calcium broyé traitée à l'acide stéarique; un agent de réticulation polyalcoxy; un catalyseur de durcissement par condensation de chélate métallique; et un promoteur d'adhésion. L'invention concerne également un ensemble paroi comprenant la composition.
