A method is provided for immobilizing a bioactive molecule onto a surface using polyphenol oxidase. In the presence of polyphenol oxidase, a bioactive molecule containing a phenol or catechol group can be simply in situ oxidized within a short time to dopa or dopaquinone which forms a coordinate bond with a metal or polymer substrate, thus immobilizing the bioactive molecule onto the surface with stability. Based on the surface immobilization of bioactive molecules using polyphenol oxidase, various bioactive molecules such as osteogenetic peptides and growth factors can be simply immobilized to medical metal or polymer substrate surfaces such as orthopedic or dental implants which can be then effectively used to induce rapid osteogenesis after being transplantd. Also, antithrombotic agents and/or entothelialization inducing agents may be immbolized to medical substrates for vascular systems, such as stents and artificial blood vessels, thus guaranteeing hemocompatibility to the medical substrates.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'immobilisation d'une molécule bioactive sur une surface à l'aide d'une polyphénol oxydase. En présence d'une polyphénol oxydase, une molécule bioactive contenant un groupe phénol ou catéchol peut simplement être oxydée in situ rapidement en dopa ou dopaquinone, qui forme une liaison de coordination avec un substrat métallique ou polymère, immobilisant ainsi la molécule bioactive sur la surface de manière stable. Sur la base de l'immobilisation à la surface de molécules bioactives à l'aide d'une polyphénol oxydase, diverses molécules bioactives telles que des peptides osteogéniques et des facteurs de croissance, peuvent simplement être immobilisées sur des surfaces métalliques médicales ou des surfaces de substrat polymère, tels que des implants orthopédiques ou dentaires, qui peuvent ensuite être efficacement utilisés pour induire une ostéogénèse rapide après la transplantation. L'invention concerne également des agents antithrombotiques et/ou des agents d'induction d'entothélialisation qui peuvent être immobilisés sur des substrats médicaux pour des systèmes vasculaires, tels que des stents et des vaisseaux sanguins artificiels, garantissant ainsi une hémocompatibilité vis-à-vis des substrats médicaux.
