Abstract

The present invention provides a QoE (Quality of Experience) management solution, wherein QoE feedback is used to optimize the usage of QoS provisioning techniques, thus improving the utilization efficiency of network resources. According to one aspect of the invention, a method for QoE management for a network service provided to a user device, the method comprising: displaying a user interface on the user device for a user to input an expected QoE value of the network service; receiving the expected QoE value of the network service from the user; evaluating an objective QoE value of the network service as a function of network QoS parameters; and adjusting the QoS parameters of the network service if the objective QoE value is less than the expected QoE value.

La présente invention se rapporte à une solution de gestion de la qualité de l'expérience (QoE, Quality of Experience). Selon la présente invention, des données de rétroaction en rapport avec la QoE sont utilisées pour optimiser l'utilisation de procédés de fourniture de QoS dans le but d'améliorer ainsi l'efficacité d'utilisation des ressources du réseau. Selon l'un de ses aspects, l'invention se rapporte à un procédé pour la gestion de la QoE en rapport avec un service de réseau fourni à un dispositif utilisateur. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste : à afficher une interface utilisateur sur le dispositif utilisateur dans le but de permettre à un utilisateur de saisir une valeur de QoE souhaitée du service de réseau; à recevoir la valeur de QoE souhaitée du service de réseau, transmise par l'utilisateur; à évaluer une valeur de QoE objective du service de réseau en fonction de paramètres de QoS du réseau; et à ajuster les paramètres de QoS du service de réseau si la valeur de QoE objective est inférieure à la valeur de QoE souhaitée.
