Certain compounds are provided that can selectively inhibit motile bacteria such as V. cholerae motility. These compounds can indirectly diminish production of cholera toxin and other major virulence required by the cholera bacterium to cause disease.

L'invention concerne des composés pouvant inhiber sélectivement la motilité des bactéries, telle que la motilité de V. cholerae. Ces composés peuvent diminuer indirectement la production de la toxine cholérique et d'autres agents très virulents utilisés par la bactérie cholérique pour provoquer une maladie.
