Provided is a technology which assesses a person's status with greater accuracy. A vital status estimation device comprises a means for deriving a frequency time series waveform from a time series wave form of a vital signal which is taken from a person's upper body, and for furthermore deriving a frequency slope time series waveform and a frequency fluctuation time series waveform and frequency analyzing same. When conducting the frequency analysis, a power spectrum is derived for each frequency corresponding to a predetermined function adjustment signal, fatigue acceptance signal, and activity adjustment signal. The person's status is then adjudicated from the time series change of each power spectrum. Given that the fatigue acceptance signal denotes the progress of fatigue in a state of normal activity, combining this with a comparison of a degree of dominance of the function adjustment signal or the activity adjustment signal as the prevalences thereof allows adjudicating the person's status, i.e., relaxed, fatigued, sympathetic nervous system predominant, parasympathetic nervous system predominant, etc., with greater accuracy.

L'invention porte sur une technologie qui évalue l'état d'une personne avec une meilleure précision. Un dispositif d'estimation d'état vital comprend un moyen pour l'obtention d'une forme d'onde de série chronologique de fréquence à partir d'une forme d'onde de série chronologique d'un signal vital qui est issu du haut du corps d'une personne, et pour l'obtention en outre d'une forme d'onde de série chronologique de pente de fréquence et d'une forme d'onde de série chronologique de fluctuation de fréquence et la réalisation d'une analyse fréquentielle de celles-ci. Lors de la réalisation de l'analyse fréquentielle, un spectre de puissance est obtenu pour chaque fréquence correspondant à un signal d'ajustement de fonction, à un signal d'acceptation de fatigue et à un signal d'ajustement d'activité prédéterminés. L'état de la personne est ensuite jugé à partir de la variation en série chronologique de chaque spectre de puissance.
