The present invention provides a compound that is a ligand having superior hole injection properties and/or transport properties and able to form a metal complex having superior hole injection properties and/or transport properties. Specifically, the present invention provides a compound represented by formula (A). (In the formula, each Q1 is compound 2. The two instances of Q1 may be the same or different. R1 is divalent organic group that may have a substituent group. Each R11 is a hydrocarbyl group that may have a substituent group. The two instances of R11 bonded to the same Q1 may, together with the Q1 bonded to, form a ring. The four instances of R11 may be the same or different. At least one group selected from R1 and the four instances of R11 has a diarylamino group as a substituent group.)

La présente invention concerne un composé qui est un ligand possédant des propriétés d'injection de trous et/ou des propriétés de transport supérieures et qui peut former un complexe métallique possédant des propriétés d'injection de trous et/ou des propriétés de transport supérieures. L'invention concerne en particulier un composé représenté par la formule (A), dans laquelle chaque Q1 est le composé 2. Les deux occurences de Q1 peuvent être identiques ou différentes; R1 est un groupe organique divalent pouvant avoir un groupe substituant; chaque R11 est un groupe hydrocarbyle pouvant avoir un groupe substituant; les deux occurences de R11 liées au même Q1 peuvent former un cycle, conjointement avec le Q1 qui leur est lié; les quatre occurences de R11 peuvent être identiques ou différentes; au moins un groupe choisi parmi R1 et les quatre occurences de R11 comporte un groupe diarylamino comme groupe substituant.
