Provided is a ship propulsion device capable of smoothly starting the ship. A ship propulsion device (1) is configured in such a manner that a control device (9) operates the engine (3) at a first engine speed when the clutch (4) is in a disengaged state, that, on the basis of an input at an input device (7), the control device (9) changes the state of the clutch (4) from the disengaged state to a partially engaged state and operates the engine (3) at a second engine speed higher than the first engine speed, that, on the basis of detection by a rotational speed detection device (6), the control device (9) operates the engine (3) at an engine speed lower than the second engine speed, and that, on the basis of an input at the input device (7), the control device (9) changes the state of the clutch (4) from the partially engaged state to the engaged state.

La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif de propulsion de bateau pouvant démarrer doucement le bateau.  船舶をスムーズに発進させることができる船舶推進装置を提供する。 制御装置9が、クラッチ4が切断状態のときはエンジン3を第1のエンジン回転数で作動させ、入力装置7における入力に基づいて、クラッチ4を切断状態から半クラッチ状態にすると共にエンジン3を第1のエンジン回転数より大きい第2のエンジン回転数で作動させ、回転数検知装置6の検知に基づいて、エンジン3を第2のエンジン回転数より小さいエンジン回転数で作動させ、入力装置7における入力に基づいて、クラッチ4を半クラッチ状態から接続状態にする船舶推進装置1である。
