A compact EGR cooler structure is provided. An EGR cooler structure (1) is provided with: a cylinder block (11) having cylinders (11a); a cylinder head (12) (exhaust gas manifold section) into which exhaust gas from the cylinders (11a) is collected; an exhaust gas purification device (20) for purifying the exhaust gas from the cylinder head (12); EGR piping (50) for conducting, as EGR gas, a part of the exhaust gas to the air intake system from second exhaust gas piping (32) downstream of the exhaust gas purification device (20); and an EGR cooler (60) provided in the EGR piping (50) and cooling the EGR gas by cooling liquid. In a side view, exhaust gas paths leading from the cylinders (11a) to the exhaust gas purification device (20) are curved and the EGR cooler (60) is disposed in the space (S) surrounded by the cylinder block (11), the cylinder head (12), and the exhaust gas purification device (20).

L'invention concerne une structure de refroidisseur de recirculation de gaz d'échappement compact. Une structure de refroidisseur de recirculation de gaz d'échappement (1) comporte : un bloc de culasse (11) comportant des cylindres (11a) ; une culasse (12) (section de bloc de distribution de gaz d'échappement) dans laquelle le gaz d'échappement provenant des cylindres (11a) est recueilli ; un dispositif de purification de gaz d'échappement (20) pour purifier le gaz d'échappement provenant de la culasse (12) ; un tuyau de recirculation de gaz d'échappement (50) pour conduire, en tant que gaz de recirculation de gaz d'échappement, une partie du gaz d'échappement vers le système d'admission d'air à partir d'un second tuyau de gaz d'échappement (32) en aval du dispositif de purification de gaz d'échappement (20) ; et un refroidisseur de recirculation de gaz d'échappement (60) installé dans le tuyau de recirculation de gaz d'échappement (50) et refroidissant le gaz de recirculation de gaz d'échappement par un liquide de refroidissement. Dans une vue latérale, les trajectoires de gaz d'échappement menant des cylindres (11a) au dispositif de purification de gaz d'échappement (20) sont courbées et le refroidisseur de recirculation de gaz d'échappement (60) est disposé dans l'espace (S) entouré par le bloc de culasse (11), la culasse (12), et le dispositif de purification de gaz d'échappement (20).
