In a communication system of the present invention provided with a plurality of base stations, a first known signal and a second known signal are defined as known signals transmitted by a communication terminal. For the first and second known signals in the same transmission frequency band, at each base station such that a plurality of carriers used in transmission of the first known signal and a plurality of carriers used in transmission of the second known signal are alternately positioned in the frequency direction, a communication unit which communicates with a communication terminal using a plurality of antennas performs null steering in relation to transmission directionality at the plurality of antennas on the basis of the first known signal from a communication terminal that transmits the first known signal when transmitting a signal to the communication terminal.

Dans un système de communication de la présente invention comprenant une pluralité de stations de base, un premier signal connu et un second signal connu sont définis en tant que signaux connus émis par un terminal de communication. Pour les premier et second signaux connus dans la même bande de fréquence d'émission, au niveau de chaque station de base de telle sorte qu'une pluralité de porteuses utilisées dans la transmission du premier signal connu et une pluralité de porteuses utilisées dans la transmission du second signal connu sont positionnées d'une manière alternée dans la direction de fréquence, une unité de communication qui communique avec un terminal de communication à l'aide d'une pluralité d'antennes effectue une orientation de zéro par rapport à la directivité d'émission au niveau de la pluralité d'antennes sur la base du premier signal connu provenant d'un terminal de communication qui émet le premier signal connu lors de l'émission d'un signal à destination du terminal de communication.

 複数の基地局を備える通信システムにおいては、通信端末が送信する既知信号として、第1既知信号と第2既知信号が定められている。同じ送信周波数帯域での第1及び第2既知信号においては、第1既知信号の送信に使用される複数のキャリアと、第2既知信号の送信に使用される複数のキャリアとは周波数方向において交互に配置されている、各基地局では、複数のアンテナを用いて通信端末と通信する通信部は、第1既知信号を送信する通信端末に対して信号を送信する際には、当該通信端末からの第1既知信号に基づいて、複数のアンテナでの送信指向性に関してヌルステアリングを行う。
