This apparatus for manufacturing an optical recording medium comprises a rotating table on which a substrate for an optical recording medium is to be placed, and a drip feeding means for drip feeding a resin for forming an optically transmissive film layer during the rotation of the rotating table, said drip feeding means drip feeding resin on the inside of the substrate and on the side surface of the substrate. According to the present invention a UV cured resin layer with a uniform cross-sectional shape is formed on the entire circumference of the side surface of the optical recording medium during a spin coat process.

L'invention porte sur un appareil de fabrication d'un support d'enregistrement optique qui comprend une table rotative sur laquelle un substrat pour support d'enregistrement optique doit être placé, et un moyen d'application au goutte-à-goutte pour appliquer au goutte-à-goutte une résine servant à former une couche de film optiquement transmissif durant la rotation de la table rotative, ledit moyen d'application au goutte-à-goutte appliquant au goutte-à-goutte une résine sur l'intérieur du substrat et sur la surface latérale du substrat. 本発明の光記録媒体の製造装置は、光記録媒体の基板を載置する回転テーブルと、 前記回転テーブルの回転中、光透過膜層を形成するための樹脂を滴下する滴下手段とを備え、前記滴下手段は、前記基板の内側と前記基板の側面とに樹脂を滴下する。本発明により、スピンコート工程において、光記録媒体の側面の全周にて断面形状が均一であるUV硬化樹脂層が形成される。
