The invention relates to an electric drive for a bicycle. The electric drive comprises an electric motor and a contact roller having an outer contact surface. The motor comprises a stator having plurality of stator coils as well as corresponding magnetic rotor elements. The rotor elements are fixedly attached to an inner surface of the contact roller. According to the invention, the contact roller encloses the stator. Particular embodiments provide a mounting assembly for mounting the electric drive to the bicycle's frame, preferably at a component of the bicycle adapted for mounting a kickstand recess.

L'invention concerne un entraînement électrique pour bicyclette. L'entraînement électrique comporte un moteur électrique et un rouleau de contact ayant une surface de contact extérieure. Le moteur comporte un stator ayant une pluralité de bobines de stator ainsi que des éléments magnétiques de rotor correspondants. Les éléments de rotor sont attachés de manière fixe sur une surface intérieure du rouleau de contact. Selon l'invention, le rouleau de contact entoure le stator. Des modes de réalisation particuliers concernent un ensemble de montage permettant de monter l'entraînement électrique sur le cadre de bicyclette, de préférence au niveau d'un élément de la bicyclette adapté au montage d'un évidement pour béquille.
