A method and apparatus for transporting single and multiple reaction vessels, wherein at least one reaction vessel (9), at least one tray (31) comprising at least two seats (27) for the at least one reaction vessel (9), and at least one gripper (44) are provided. One of the reaction vessel (9) or the tray (31) is engaged with the gripper (44) at a first position,the gripped element (9, 31) is transported to a second position and the gripper (44)is released. A similar gripping collar(16) is provided both on the reaction vessel (9) and the tray (31) for the gripper (44) to engage. At one transport stage one of the reaction vessel (9) or the tray (31) is engaged with the gripper (44) at a first position by pushing the gripper (44) from above to engage with the gripping collar (16)for the gripper (44) and in a second stage the transported element (9, 31) is disengaged from the gripper (44) by moving the gripper (44) sideways in relation to the center axis of the gripping collar (16).

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un appareil destinés à transporter une ou plusieurs cuves de réaction, où sont ménagés au moins une cuve de réaction (9), au moins un plateau (31) comprenant au moins deux logements (27) pour la ou les cuves de réaction (9), et au moins un organe de préhension (44). La cuve de réaction (9) ou le plateau (31) entre en prise avec l'organe de préhension (44) dans une première position, l'élément saisi (9, 31) est transporté jusqu'à une seconde position et l'organe de préhension (44) est relâché. Un collier de préhension similaire (16) est disposé sur la cuve de réaction (9) et sur le plateau (31) en vue d'une mise en prise par l'organe de préhension (44). A un stade de transport, la cuve de réaction (9) ou le plateau (31) entre en prise avec l'organe de préhension (44) dans une première position grâce à la poussée de l'organe de préhension (44) par au-dessus afin d'entrer en prise avec le collier de préhension (16)for the gripper (44) et à un second stade, l'élément transporté (9, 31) est séparé de l'organe de préhension (44) grâce au déplacement latéral de l'organe de préhension (44) par rapport à l'axe central du collier de préhension (16).
