Abstract

This Mechanism introduces a new concept for rotary valves used in fluid power transmission and control. It transforms the rotary motion precisely to axial straight motion. It can also be used as an actuator. There are two sensitive chambers at the ends of the spool. Four helical grooves operate in axial symmetry. The rotary motion of the helical groove chages the connections/distribution between ports and chambers, thus forces the spool to slide to a balanced position.

Ce mécanisme introduit un nouveau concept de soupapes rotatives utilisées pour la commande et la transmission hydrauliques. Il transforme précisément le mouvement rotatif en mouvement linéaire axial. Il peut également être utilisé comme actionneur. Il existe deux chambres sensibles aux extrémités de la bobine. Quatre rainures hélicoïdales fonctionnent en symétrie axiale. Le mouvement rotatif de la rainure hélicoïdale change les liaisons/distribution entre les orifices et les chambres, poussant ainsi la bobine à glisser dans une position d'équilibre.
