(EN)A method of sanitising swimming pool water including forming a matrix comprising one or more insoluble metal salts adjacent an at least one anode and/or an at least one cathode of an electrolytic cell. When water from the pool is passed through the active electrolytic cell the presence of the matrix of insoluble metal salts enhances the generation of active oxygen species which results in sanitisation of the swimming pool water.
(FR)Le procédé de désinfection de l'eau de piscine ci-décrit consiste à former une matrice comprenant un ou plusieurs sels métalliques insolubles au voisinage d'au moins une anode et/ou d'au moins une cathode de cellule électrolytique. Quand on fait passer l'eau provenant de la piscine dans la cellule électrolytique active, la présence de la matrice de sels métalliques insolubles augmente la génération des espèces actives de l'oxygène avec pour résultat, la désinfection de l'eau de piscine.
