(EN)This invention is about silica monolithic particles, chromatographic stationary phases comprising them, and their manufacturing methods. The manufacturing process of silica monolithic particles of this invention includes three steps: the step for formation of bulk monolith (step 1) through sequential heating at three different temperatures, the step for powdering the silica monolith (step 2), and the step for calcination of the powdered silica monolith at 400-800 oC (step 3). In this invention, the manufacturing process for silica monolith particles becomes much simpler by removing the sieving and washing steps in comparison with the previous methods, causing great reduction of production cost. In addition, silica monolith particles with reduced average particle size and increased average pore size are obtained in this invention. Thus the stationary phases comprising the silica monolith particles of this invention result in high separation performance in liquid chromatography.
(FR)L'invention concerne des particules monolithiques de silice, des phases stationnaires chromatographiques les comprenant et leurs procédés de fabrication. Le procédé de fabrication des particules monolithiques de silice selon l'invention comprend trois étapes : l'étape de formation de monolithe en vrac (étape 1) grâce à un chauffage séquentiel à trois températures différentes, l'étape de réduction en poudre du monolithe de silice (étape 2) et l'étape de calcination du monolithe de silice réduit en poudre à 400-800oC (étape 3). Selon l'invention, le procédé de fabrication pour les particules de monolithes de silice devient beaucoup plus simple grâce à l'élimination des étapes de tamisage et de lavage, comparativement aux méthodes antérieures, entraînant une grande réduction du coût de production. De plus, des particules de monolithes de silice, présentant une taille moyenne de particules réduite et une taille moyenne de pores augmentée, sont obtenues dans cette invention. Ainsi, les phases stationnaires comprenant les particules de monolithes de silice de cette invention résultent en une performance de séparation élevée en chromatographie liquide.
