(EN)Disclosed are an encoding/decoding method of an intra prediction mode using two candidate intra prediction modes, and a device for using the same. The decoding method of the intra prediction mode comprises the steps of: determining whether an intra prediction mode of a present prediction unit is the same as a first candidate intra prediction mode or as a second candidate intra prediction mode on the basis of 1-bit information; and determining, among said first candidate intra prediction mode and said second candidate intra prediction mode, which candidate intra prediction mode is the same as the intra prediction mode of said present prediction unit on the basis of additional 1-bit information, if the intra prediction mode of the present prediction unit is the same as at least either the first candidate intra prediction mode or the second candidate intra prediction mode, and decoding the intra prediction mode of the present prediction unit. Thus, the invention increases encoding/decoding efficiency and reduces complexity.
(FR)La présente invention porte sur un procédé de codage / décodage d'un mode d'intra-prédiction au moyen de deux modes d'intra-prédiction candidats et un dispositif d'utilisation de celui-ci. Le procédé de décodage du mode d'intra-prédiction comprend les opérations suivantes : la détermination si un mode d'intra-prédiction d'une unité de prédiction actuelle est le même qu'un premier mode d'intra-prédiction candidat ou d'un deuxième mode d'intra-prédiction candidat sur la base d'informations à 1 bit, et la détermination, parmi ledit premier mode d'intra-prédiction candidat et ledit deuxième mode d'intra-prédiction candidat, du mode d'intra-prédiction candidat qui est le même que le mode d'intra-prédiction de ladite unité de prédiction actuelle sur la base d'informations à 1 bit additionnelles, si le mode d'intra-prédiction de l'unité de prédiction actuelle est au moins le même que le premier mode d'intra-prédiction candidat ou le deuxième mode d'intra-prédiction candidat, et le décodage du mode d'intra-prédiction de l'unité de prédiction actuelle. Ainsi, l'invention permet d'augmenter l'efficacité du codage / décodage et d'en réduire la complexité.
